Heritage Festival Committee
The Heritage Committee consists of nine (9) members of the Heritage Committee Executive Board appointed by the City Council. Additional volunteers interested in assisting with sub-committee work must be added to the Committee by majority vote of the Executive Board.
The Committee meets regularly at 7:00 PM on the second Wednesday of every month. The Committee has the option of not meeting in December and January of each year.
Powers and Duties
The Committee has as its responsibility and purpose the independent planning and execution of the City’s annual Heritage Celebration and related Heritage activities within the community. The City Council shall approve the parade route, theme, budget and addition or removal of an Executive Board Member.
