Placentia Tiny Tots
The City of Placentia is proud to offer a Tiny Tots kindergarten readiness program for children ages 3 to 5. The Tiny Tots program introduces the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, sharing, taking turns, following directions, and taking responsibility for their actions. We enhance the children's social/emotional development and fine motor skills through planned activities that involve indoor/outdoor play, group activities, arts and crafts, reading stories, music, and so much more. The Tiny Tots program prepares the children for a successful transition into kindergarten. The program also provides the children with a light snack, refreshments, and supplies and materials required for all activities.
You will need to send your child with a lunch, water bottle, and extra clothing in a clear plastic bag labeled with their first and last name. Participating children must be fully potty-trained, and no pull-ups are allowed. Your child will be dropped from the program if they have pull-ups.
