What is Placentia Youth Basketball Camp?

PYB Camp emphasizes the fundamentals of the game, teamwork, and FUN! Our best coaches and staff will help your player take their game to the next level. Players of all ability are welcome. 

These camps are expected to fill up so register your player today. Register your player at Placentia City Hall, Monday - Thursday from 7:30a.m. - 6:00p.m. or any time at

At just $50 a player it is the best deal in town. Scholarships are available to those who qualify. Scholarship applications are available at the Community Services Department, call 714-993-8232 for more information.

Age Division

Division "C" 1st-3rd Grade

"C" division focuses on dribbling, passing, shooting, basic technique, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Mondays from 5p.m. - 7p.m. July 22 - August 12

Division "B" 4th-5th Grade

"B" division also focuses on dribbling, passing, shooting, teamwork and sportsmanship. Children in this division will learn to polish their basketball skills, and will be introduced to basic plays and strategy.
Tuesdays from 5p.m. - 7p.m. July 23 - August 13

Division "A" 6th-8th Grade

"A" division reinforces all of the focuses and skills of "C" and "B" divisions. Youth in this division will also be introduced to the offensive and defensive strategies used by Jr High and High School teams. They will be ahead of the game if they want to compete for their Jr. High or High School team.
