Shredding & E-Waste Recycling Event
Saturday, September 30, 2023
The City invites Placentia residents and businesses to participate in a free community Shredding & E-Waste Recycling Event on Saturday, September 30th, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Placentia Civic Center (401 East Chapman Avenue).
Shredding documents can help prevent fraud and identity theft. Paper Depot will be present to destroy confidential copies on-site. Limit six (6) banker box-size containers from each household or business located in Placentia. Please place items in the trunk for easy access. If the material is in a 3-ring binder, please remove it before shredding. (Paper clips, staples, rubber bands, or file folders do not need to be separated as the shredding process can easily destroy them.)
Attan Recycling will collect e-waste. See below for more details.
