Do you know what to do in the event of a disaster? Do you know how to prepare before the disaster occurs? If your answer to these questions is no, join the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training! In conjunction with the Cities of Yorba Linda and Tustin, the City of Placentia will be hosting a CERT program in April and May of 2022. CERT is a course that demonstrates how to prepare for a disaster and what to do during and immediately after the event. It is free to all participants, but you must be at minimum 14 years old (with a guardian also enrolled in the course) to take the CERT course. For more information and to register, please visit www.placentia.org/cert or contact Emergency and Health Services Manager Patrick Powers at (714) 993-8142 or ppowers@placentia.org.
