- Heat and Cooling Center Information
Excessive heat can cause health concerns for some individuals. If you, or someone you know is in need of a cool respite, you may visit one of the following centers during their business hours. During prolonged extreme heat events, hours may be extended at the Placentia Community Centers or Senior Center to accommodate the emergency.
Other indoor recreational venues such as local coffee shops, restaurants and shopping centers can also be visited to escape the heat. Attractive options for cooling off are the Brea Mall, Tri-City Park and the many stores around town.
Please note: Times and locations may vary based on weather events.
