The Placentia City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Meetings begin at 7:00 pm and are held in the City Council Chambers of City Hall at 401 E. Chapman Avenue, Placentia, CA 92870.

The Placentia City Council also acts as the Successor Agency to the former Redevelopment Agency and as the Board of Directors for the Industrial Commercial Development Agency (ICDA).

The City Clerk prepares an agenda prior to each City Council meeting. Agendas are available 72 hours before each meeting. You can find them online and at the City Clerk's Office at Placentia City Hall, 401 E. Chapman Avenue, Placentia, CA 92870.

The City of Placentia has partnered with Granicus, Inc. to webcast Placentia's City Council meetings live on the internet, access past archived meetings, and view specific portions of council meetings. City Council Minutes are available since 1926.
